The Fade - Abyss
A downloadable game
A galaxy on the precipice of a second galactic-scale conflict.
Travel across worlds has been revolutionized by "Dimensional Gates", teleportation circles dotting the galaxy and allowing people to travel freely.
The Fade - Abyss (also known as The Fade Tabletop - Abyss or The Fade Tabletop - 4th Edition) is a d12 success-based dice pool system with a focus on quick and deadly combat and heavy customization while maintaining a simple system.
Welcome to Morta IV
Morta IV is the galaxy in which The Fade - Abyss takes place, a galaxy interconnected by Dimensional Gates, structures created long ago which utilize an old finite resource to stabilize and enhance the teleportation magic within to allow near-limitless travel within the galaxy, and out to different Realms.
This near-utopian system revolutionized trade and politics, however when the creators of this Gate System grew greedy and power hungry, they each tried carving out fiefdoms of their own control - engineering shadow governments to keep different planets and countries loyal to them and them alone, their bargaining chip being their ability to create and maintain the Gate System which made these nations so prosperous.
One by one, each of these mages perished, until a power vacuum was left by their absence. Factionalism took over, and those who were once puppeted by these powerful mages have now become the rulers. And they started what was known as the Great Galactic War.
Almost 1,000 years later, and the wounds of this war still wrack the galaxy as many of the once functional Gates have been destroyed or damaged. Trade and travel are still prevalent, however, the golden age has definitely passed. And whether or not things will collapse or even worse enter a second Great Galactic War is anyone's guess.
TTRPG / Media Inspirations
The Fade was loosely inspired by a number of different games, movies, and TV shows; Shin Megami Tensei, The Witcher, Star Wars, Fire Emblem, Etrian Odyssey, and even series like Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magic Obscura have been inspirations for this setting. There are many more, probably too many to list. But if that sounds like your thing - give The Fade - Abyss a try!
...Or don't.
I don't have a gun to your head.

There some diferentes betwen the compresed and not , and can you explain me the combate sistem?
Compressed is just a smaller size, that's all. It's all the same content. Just not a massive file size.
As for explaining the combat system, I don't know that I can explain the whole combat system in a single post...but, if there's specific parts of combat you have questions about, I can certainly answer them.
In short, combat takes place on a hex grid. You have facing on this hex grid. Which face you're being attacked at will determine how well you can defend against it (if even at all). HP is relatively low due to armor being the main source of protection you'll have, as it functions similar to an HP bar (reaching 0 and breaking).
I have literally a character that make 40 dmg in a turn(two strikes) and have 14 of dex, how can i dodge with the dice? Or parry and if my weapon doth álow enemys to dodge or parry and have the disarm trait how can they stop that? and if im a hybrid can i get perk form the another race whe i lvl up? (Just in case i play with this character like every 3 days and for like 1 year or some lke that, so we have a big problem with the dodge and parry sistem) and please add people with a especial organs like tails or trhons that use to atack or some kitsune y love that race form the anothers games (Thank for make such a good game)
Alright, gonna break my answer down just since there's a couple of points here;
Let me explain, I'm a blacksmith, I made my weapon, they are two separate swords, each with a chain that is stapled to the character's body, they have the perk to change shape, that is, chain mode: little damage but they are inescapable, unblockable, and disarm. Hand mode: they do 12 but with the half of my dex they do more damage but they have no literal critical, crit 8 haha, the game with them is to use them in chain mode and since they are ranged weapons, when an enemy enters my range I attack first, immediately as a reaction I disarm him, this rule was added to make combat more realistic, that is, an archer will not let you get close or a spearman will always have the advantage, and 14 dx because in the initial random roll my dex was 6 and 6 and my dm allowed me have 14 with the bonuses, take care bro and remenber im and my friends are fan of your game <3
you ever considered naming this "Fade - The Abyss" for the laughs (and also cause it rolls better off the tongue) ?
regardless that sounds like a fun premise, haven't read the guidebook yet but I've a feeling you might enjoy this little open exploration game called Starsector
